The Lean Alaska White Belt Certificate is the first step in introducing the fundamental principles of our fused methodology. This course will provide the information needed to continue on towards the Lean Alaska Yellow, Green, and Black Belt Certificate. PROGRAM DESCRIPTION The Lean Alaska White Belt Certificate course will introduce the basic concepts about Lean, Six Sigma, data driven processes and decisions, and the history and application of six sigma. In addition, the challenges brought on with Lean Six Sigma as well as the benefits. This course is specifically designed for almost everyone who is planning to start their process improvement journey. Lean Alaska has designed this course to be interactive and engaging as a way that enables full comprehension of the DMAIC methodology and how to use it to do or review projects. DELIVERY and DURATION The White Belt hybrid course consists of a mixture of live-virtual workshops and pre-recorded course material. White Belt will be 6.5 hours to complete. The following is a breakout of the delivery methods: White: -5 hours of pre-recorded course material accessed through MS Teams. ASSESSMENT Evaluation will be based on the candidate meeting the minimum acceptable performance criteria for the certification elements covered in this course. For a White Belt training certificate, pass a 15-question exam in 1 hour with a passing grade of 70%. The White Belt HYBRID is Open Enrollment and Registration can be done at anytime.
