The Lean Alaska White Belt Certificate is the first step in introducing the fundamental principles of our fused methodology. This course will provide the information needed to continue on towards the Lean Alaska Yellow, Green, and Black Belt Certificate.
The Lean Alaska White Belt Certificate course will introduce the basic concepts about Lean, Six Sigma, Design Thinking, Business Process Re-engineering, and Change Management. In addition, we will discuss opportunity identification and project curation as well as some basic tools to get started. This course is specifically designed for almost everyone who is planning to start their process improvement journey. Lean Alaska has designed this course to be interactive and engaging as a way that enables full comprehension of the DMAIC methodology and how to use it to do or review projects.
Lean Alaska is currently offering Virtual Training through various online platforms that can be customized to better meet future student and organizations' needs and requirements. Currently, Microsoft Teams is being used as the main platform, but Zoom and GoogleMeet are also available for larger organizations who request a private training session. Each of our different delivery methods includes interactive learning, group discussion, and simulations to reinforce the training material.
The Lean Alaska White Belt Certificate is a 6-hour course that is comprised of lectures, simulation, review, evaluation, and feedback.
There will be a final exam at the end of the course that will be comprised of 20 multiple choice questions. You are required to get at least 15 of 20 questions correct to pass the exam in order to receive the Certificate of Completion.
